BetterBev Recognition Program
The Center for Sustainable Enterprise and Regional Competitiveness at UMass Boston is a founding member of the new BetterBev program, which provides pollution prevention technical assistance and recognition to craft beverage manufacturers. It is funded by the U.S. Environment Protection Agency.
The initiative aims to help craft beverage manufacturers reduce the use of energy, water, and chemicals, and prevent waste while achieving cost savings and improved brand recognition. UMass Boston SERC has recognized more than 30 facilities since 2023. Interested in being recognized? Contact us for assistance or complete the online form on the BetterBev website.
