Biography

Dr. Turner's research focuses on assessing and mitigating barriers to the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating in adolescents. She has specific interest in societal attitudes toward eating, nutrition, and body weight, as well as health misinformation. She aims to restructure the eating disorder diagnosis and treatment landscape to include all of those who can benefit and sees nursing as a discipline well-suited to this challenge.
