U-ACCESS Food Pantry

 Pantry Hours at U-ACCESS

You can use U-ACCESS  pantry once a week, contact staff at u-access@umb.edu or call 617-297-1500.

2 out of every 5 UMass Boston students are food insecure*. You are not alone.

T he U-ACCESS food pantry opened in February 2013 with the mission of providing emergency grocery items to UMass Boston students who did not have access to food for balanced and healthy meals.  Today, the pantry has grown into providing pantry items, hygiene products, school supplies, and case management support to address additional student needs.

All UMass Boston students enrolled in at least one credit are eligible to participate, including but not limited to undergraduates, graduate students, students actively parenting, international students, ESL students, veterans, differently-abled, and those with dietary restrictions. If you anticipate barriers in accessing our resources or have any questions, feel free to email or call Cara Cogliano, Director, at 617.287.3190.

To access the pantry and other U-ACCESS services, come by our office at Campus Center 2401 or contact us.

* Student data compiled from a 2018 Hope Lab Basic Needs Security Report.
